A two man crew with one truck operates 9 am to 5 pm on the south side Mondays and Tuesdays and on the north side Thursdays and Fridays with Wednesdays open for maintenance. Saline harriers remained undefeated in dual meets by defeating Pinckney 30 to 25 after a Pinckney invitational showing. Saline city voter drive hailed as successful by clerk
City Clerk Jack Vaughan called Saline’s voter registration drive a success with about 3200 voters expected for the November election. The Oct 6 deadline closed at 8 p.m. with roughly 150 people registering during extended hours. Among the 18 to 20 year olds, 57 new voters joined for November and 1176 local youths are set to vote this fall.
