The Saline High School Alumni Banquet and Dance will be held Saturday in the All Purpose Room. Dinner at 6 30 p.m. served by Federated Church ladies, dance at 9 30 p.m. open to the public. Music by the Triesters of Ann Arbor. Tickets for the dance are $1 at the door. The class of 1960 will be dinner guests with Bill Taylor giving the welcome.
Jerry and Marion Fojtik of Adrian announced the purchase of the Pelar Bear Inn located five miles west of Saline on US 112. The couple plans to move to Saline, enroll their three children in September, and redecorate the inn during a two week pause in weekly chicken dinners before a Grand Opening.

Patricia N. Hardy Washtenaw County register of deeds announces re election bid for a fourth term in the Aug. 2 primary. A Republican since 1946 she notes strict adherence to Michigan law and minimal costs while turning 18 000 to 21 000 yearly into the county general fund.
The annual Schneider-Guenther reunion will be held Sunday June 26 at the home of Mr. and Mrs Norman Guenther 5380 S Maple Road one mile south of Saline Ann Arbor road and a half mile east of Lodi Plains school. Potluck dinner served at 1 pm guests bring their own table service.
