Another House With A History At 300 East Henry
The 300 East Henry house, built 1878 as a Methodist parsonage on Davenport land, housed Saline families including the Curtisses and Millers. Current occupants Dr. and Mrs. D E Garrison renovated two baths and the kitchen, plan attic conversion, and decorate rooms in distinct periods. A stained glass piece found for the kitchen window was humorously seen as a fertility symbol.
