Hamburg clock repairman arraigned in murder case
Robert Cales, a 51 year old Hamburg clock repairman with Saline area clients, was arraigned in Howell on an open murder count for the fatal shooting of his wife Virginia. He stood mute and is held without bond as a preliminary investigation is set for Feb. 7. Police responded to the Riverdale home late Saturday to find Mrs. Cales, 52, dead at the scene.
