Saline Council honors long service and sets new projects

At the first meeting of the year the Saline City Council recognized tenures from mayor to planning commission and presented service pins. Mayor Hubert Beach outlined a pond restoration plan to begin when funds are available in July. Judge Keith Edict Halts Dress Code Enforcement

Saline Area Schools suspended dress code enforcement as Civil Action 35399 by Don Church Jr and parents moves forward. An injunction issued Jan 6 bars school officials from enforcing any dress policy and requires reinstatement of students without penalties for dress violations.

Saline police reported Christine Hestler 2 based at 149 Harper Dr was treated at MU Hospital Poison Center after a barbiturate overdose at 4 09 p m and stomach pumped. She is expected to be ok according to officials.
