Henne Field May Be Biggest Rink in Area

City recreation committee and Saline residents believe Henne Field hosts the area’s largest flood flooded ice rink behind the Intermediate School, measuring about 100 by 50 yards with a separate hockey rink under construction. The Winter Sports Committee, aided by the High School Key Club, will supervise and offer skate sharpening for charity while urging care of ice and warming shed equipment. Rink hours extend to 9 pm on school nights and 11 pm on weekends weather permitting.
