Saline Barnegat photo captures millpond view from Whitlock and Water
A Christmas card style image shows a rural field with barns and a fence but the skyline reveals Saline City limits. Taken near Whitlock and Water Street in Barnegat, the shot faces east to the empty millpond and cemetery beyond U S 12. The Wedemeyer farm meadow remains, with a few sheep, while Water Street ends by a long vanished millpond due to a recent boundary settlement.
