Wednesday services in Ann Arbor for Mrs. Alvin H Pommerening 76 of Chelsea who died Sunday after a long illness. Rev Armin Bizer officiated with burial in Bethlehem Church Cemetery Ann Arbor. She was born Feb 15 1892 in Freedom Township and married Alvin H Pommerening in 1914. Survivors include her husband a daughter a son five grandsons three sisters four brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. Harriet Pick of Ann Arbor will teach at Saline Cooperative Nursery School this year. Mrs. Pick and her husband and two daughters recently returned from Dayton Ohio where Dr. Pick served two years in the Air Force. He is a dermatologist on a biochemistry fellowship at the University of Michigan. She holds a BA from the University of Michigan in social studies and is pursuing a master's in counselling and guidance. Her experience includes three years teaching social studies French and English at junior high level and 20 months in a Chicago nursery school.
