Stony Creek Grange to mark 100 years in August celebration
Stoney Creek Grange No. 51 will celebrate its centennial on August 25 with a potluck supper at 6:30 p.m. and a Centennial Dance at 9 p.m. Open to all Grangers and friends, the event recalls early days when families from New York State built the hall east of Willis and Stoney Creek Roads, with a 1901 dedication and a peak membership of 135. The community has since shifted from rural to urban, yet Grange stewardship remains strong.
