Saline Boy Joins Overseas All-Stars In Little League
Rob Royal son of Captain and Mrs Robert Royal former Saline resident was selected as one of 14 boys including four 11 year olds to join the Zaragoza All-Star Little League from Zaragoza Spain Air Force Base. The team won the Spanish overseas championship and defeated Moroccan champions to reach Paris for the European title. Royal has played third baseman pitcher and catcher for three years and is grandson of the late Clayton Royal and the MacArthurs.

No entries have yet been submitted for the annual Miss Saline contest sponsored by the Jaycees. Miss Saline and two court members will be crowned on Thursday night during the Fair week, September 13. Katrene Gall of 1962 will attend the State Fair parade Friday and participate in Miss Michigan events August 28.
