Area Churches Plan Joint Good Friday Union Service
A coalition of Saline churches will hold a Community Good Friday Union Service from 1 to 2 p.m. at St. Pauls United Church of Christ on NW Michigan Ave at Lewis with Rev Dan Wallace delivering Calvary You are There. Other clergy and musicians from area churches participate in the event and additional services are planned at Emmanuel United Church and Holy Cross Episcopal.

Youth Injured In Parking Lot Fight At Farm Council Grounds
A March 26 Battle of the Bands event ended with a fight in the parking lot leaving 17 year old Dominick Becker severely beaten. Becker required spleen removal surgery later at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital and is recovering at home. An 18 year old Milan youth faces felonious assault charges and a court date is set for April 7 in Saline.
