Christian Finkbeiner died at his Salzie township home Friday night after a lingering illness. Born in Wuertemburg Germany in 1860 he came to America at age 13 with his parents who settled here. He married Caroline Koengeter December 13 1888 and left eight children George Christian Jaca Reuben Rawin Olga and Frieda with five grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from his residence at 1 30 and at St Jacob's church at 2 00 Rev Otto Papsdorf officiating burial in St Jacob's cemetery.
