The Stony Creek Grange hosts its first public dance of the season at the Grange hall with Leonards four piece orchestra providing music. Local youths George Hewens Vann Watkins and Duane Heath have enlisted or been called for Army service. Frances Darby of Washington D C visited family at Willow Run, and Mrs Joseph Clark resumes teaching at Oaklawn school.
The Circuit Court of Washtenaw County Michigan issues an order of publication requiring the defendant Harley V. English to appear within three months. Publication to begin within two weeks in The Saline Observer. The notice is published in Ann Arbor with court officials named Luella M. Smith and Zada N. Woods.
