Interesting Museum In G. W. Barr Home
George W. Barr preserves a local history museum in his Saline home. Mrs. Barr helped label items from Saline and Florida, including clocks, rosewood furniture from 1832, a sewing machine, Civil War gun, a revolved-top table, Indian stones, shells, shells and maps, a G A R flag, and a candle snuffer clock knife. The display evokes pioneer life and forebears’ days.
