The Methodist church announces morning worship at 10 with Pastor R S Hocking and Sunday School at 11. Sermon title for October 20 is Surrender. Get-Acquainted Class meets October 21, prayer fellowship October 23, and family night October 24 in church parlors.
The church lists 10:00 a.m. service and 11:15 a.m. Sunday School with Rev. Henry McKenzie as candidate for the pulpit Sunday evening October 20 at 8 o'clock. Junior choir practice Saturday at 7 p.m. and prayer meeting Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

St James Evangelical and Reformed church held a mission festival with Rev Arnold Lambarth as guest speaker. The morning crowd filled the church and the evening service was well attended. Mission offerings reached 504 dollars to support needy mission churches in India China Africa and South America.
