Miles Bristol Dies. Traffic Safety Leader in Michigan
Miles Clinton Bristol of Dearborn, 40, longtime head of the Automobile Club of Michigan safety division, died at University Hospital after a long illness. He helped grow safety patrols and school education, led traffic surveys and test lanes. He was honored by his local club, a Acacia fraternity member, and survived by his widow and two children. Funeral held in Bay City with his mother, O Lena Bristol, residing there. He was cousin to Sim R. Wilson Jr. and had visited Saline with the Wilson family. He spent time at Howell Sanitarium for tuberculosis treatment.
