Saline high school football will play under arc lights for the first time in two years when it hosts Flat Rock tomorrow at 8. Flat Rock arrives with two league wins while Saline has one win and one loss.

Mrs. Ralph Hunt hosted the American Legion Auxiliary with guests including Department Americanism chairwoman Mrs. Eleanor Billmayer and second district officers. New officers listed with Tema Moehn as president and Helen Tanner as first vice president. Also notes a Wright Field recruiting appeal for junior engineers with openings at 42400 per year. The Tri County Sportsmen's League holds its monthly meeting Friday Oct 9 at 8 pm at the Polar Bear Casino five miles west of Saline. Prof Haines of the University of Michigan will speak and a discussion on 1942-48 game laws will follow with Conservation Officer Carl Brushaber answering questions. All conservation-minded individuals are invited.
