Saline Plans New School Building to Relieve Crowding
The Saline Board of Education calls a special election for December 5 to approve a new two story brick veneer school building on Ann Arbor Street fronting McKay Street. It would house five grade rooms on the first floor, a domestic science area, auditorium and gymnasium, and a high school wing on the second floor. The plan foresees room for future growth, helps curb eye trouble from crowded quarters, and aims to boost property values and community activity while detailing tax implications and funding.
