Michigan volunteers organize two week clothing drive

Michigan volunteer salvage committees plan a two week drive from November 22 to December 4 with churches charities and organizations invited as collection centers Dry cleaners will clean usable clothing and send it to the Defense Supplies Corporation which will distribute to Allied Nations Officers say a dire need for clothing for war refugees and liberated countries Ten percent may be kept for local relief and unwearable garments for rags are also wanted.

Funeral Services for Trinius Dodge in New Brunswick

Trinius Dodge 82 died in New Brunswick New Jersey. Services held at Lockwood Funeral Home at 2 PM last Thursday with Rev Fred R Lendrum officiating. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery. Survived by daughter Mrs Gale Riggs of York township who lived with him before moving to New Brunswick two years ago.

Council Proceedings Take Up Bills and Adjourn

In the council chamber on Monday evening November 8 Mayor Gross presided. Members Haarer Alber attended while Lambarth Sugden were absent. Minutes read and approved. Saline School Instrumental Program Expands Student Music

The Saline School Instrumental Program offers targeted instruction in brass woodwind and strings with separate periods on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A junior band and a dance band provide ensemble opportunities while parents are urged to support participation and donate unused instruments to the school.
