Mrs. Mildred A. Haswell reports that 31 members of the current senior class attended the annual College Day conference at Ann Arbor High School on November 5. Seniors learned about college admission requirements from representatives of colleges in Michigan and other states in a series of meetings across the building.
Nineteen colleges attended the conference with delegates including Adrian Alma Albion Central Michigan College of Education and others. Saline seniors listed as attendees include Norma Faust Helen Graf Dorothy Marion James Cook and many more.
A young man was fined 400 dollars and jailed in Chicago after attempting to lift a policeman’s pocket near a police station. He admitted completing a ninety day course at a pick pockets school.
Police Officer Robert Love has received 24 tickets at reduced rates for the Detroit Lions Chicago Bears game at Briggs Stadium on December 7. The tickets will be distributed to the Junior Police and their escorts following a meeting Thursday night November 13 at 7 30.
