Ten Saline High School student council members traveled to Ann Arbor for the eighth annual Michigan High School Conference on Citizenship held October 29 at the Horace H. Rackham School of Graduate Studies. Over 1700 students and advisers attended as H. O. Fritz Crisler spoke on leadership and council roles.

Help Needed To Complete Home For Billy Still
Billy Still 28 is paralyzed by polio since August 12 and lives in an improvised garage with his wife and four children. He served in World War II in the Merchant Marines and Navy. Clinton and Tecumseh residents formed the Billy Still Family Fund, raising 902.60 with volunteers aiding construction. donations are still sought via Saline Savings Bank.

Federated Ladies Aid Plans International Tea Exhibit
Mrs. Maurice Henderson announces the Federated church Ladies Aid annual Guest Day Tea on Wednesday November 12 at 2 PM in the church dining room. Hostesses include Mrs. Henry McKenzie Mrs. Fred Otto Mrs. Everett Collins Mrs. Harold Finch and Mrs. Mark Forsythe. An international display with items from Thailand Japan Australia Peru Guatemala North Africa Switzerland and others. Circle I organizes the exhibit and will collect labeled articles for display via church or by contacting Mrs. Arthur Jacobsen. The sanctuary program precedes tea with the theme The Nations of the World featuring hymns devotions and music. Several members participate in a Latin America sketches and a play Working Women of the World directed by Mrs. Howard Johnson with cast including several named members and guests.
