The 1954 55 season ends as Deckerts take first with a strong finish. A and M Chevrolet and Halters Tavern falter late. Banquet May 6 at Legion Hall awarded trophies, vows to start next season after Labor Day. Pete Carter of Strohs spoke and showed films. 62 attendees, five sponsors, Donna praised for support. Officer slate announced. $180 set aside for next year.

Mr. John Feuerbacher 80 formerly of Saline died Saturday night May 14 at a local hospital. Born December 12 1874 in Germany he was the son of John and Christina Reinhardt Feuerbacher. Survived by one brother Fred Feuerbacher Laurel Montana. Services held at Lock wood Funeral Home Saline Tuesday May 17 at 2 pm Rev Alvin Siemsen officiating burial Oakwood Saline Michigan.
