Reminiscences and local notes from long-ago years
Ten years ago the community saw hospital visits and family gatherings with Elkhart and Lansing connections. A dozen names surface from Clayton, Ann Arbor, Tecumseh, and Hamburg while milestones include school returns, fittings, and a new electric sign. Forty-five years ago farm activity, legal rumors, and local commerce dominate, with saloon bonds approved and village finances set.
