About forty neighbors and relatives helped Lonnie Austin celebrate his birthday Saturday evening with music and socializing. Several residents from Cadillac Ida Milan and Saline attended. Mrs. George Ernst is an Ann Arbor hospital patient. Lonnie Austin visits Cadillac this week as guest of daughter Mrs. Carl Schute. A list of local visits and illnesses follows with multiple residents noted as ill or receiving care in nearby cities. Roads remain impassable due to heavy rains.
Mrs Paul Alber entered as a medical patient last Wednesday evening and returned home Monday A daughter was born to Mr and Mrs William Hawker of Milan on Sunday Mr and Mrs Lenor Roehm of Clinton have a daughter born Monday Rosemary Conner of Ypsilanti had a tonsillectomy on Tuesday Mrs Caroline Rentschler a medical patient has been moved to the home of her daughter Mrs Arthur Heininger
Miss Lois Holcomb of Ypsilanti spent the weekend with her parents Mr and Mrs snarlan furlcomb Mr and Mrs Louis Smith. Mr and Mrs Loyal Kanitz attended a pinochle club party at the Purkey home in Milan. Loyola and Russell Kanitz joined a Lansing basketball tournament Friday and Saturday. Mooreville schools closed Monday and Tuesday due to bad roads. Mrs Herman Bruckner hosted the Mooreville Methodist church W S C S event Friday. Frank Caswell family moved into Lee Draper home. Loyola Kanitz staying with Pauline and Hene Merritt this week. Clarence Schwartz and family visited his mother in a Detroit hospital Saturday.
