Alvin Emanuel Rentschler born May 24 1893 in Ladi township Michigan was oldest son of Mr and Mrs Emanuel Rentschler He grew up on the Pittsfield township farm attended Saline high school and Cleary Business College In Ypsilanti He worked at M Cc Rene in Jackson later with Wayne County and Home Livings Bank In Detroit He died after a brief illness in Detroit following the 1920 panic and engagement with his career in banking and service to his community.
