Mrs John Wahl died last Monday at her Chelsea home 72 percent South Main Street after a period of failing health. Born Caroline Katz in Hochdorf Wuerttemberg Germany September 23 1872 she immigrated at age 11 and lived in Bridgewater township. She was married May 12 1892 and survived by three sons a sister two brothers nine grandchildren and other relatives with one son Theodore dead in 1912. Funeral services were held at Surgardt Funeral Home Chelsea with burial in Mount Hope Waterloo.
