Saline and Lake Orion opened Thursday night with Saline winning 22 to 7 in the second half after a 7 to 5 lead. Bob Cullen scored 16 of Saline’s 22 points. Friday morning Saline edged Belleville 20 to 8 after a tight first half 10 to 7. Belleville then beat Laingsburg but lost to Dearborn. Holly captured the championship with Dearborn runners up. Farmington won the consolation series. Saline aims for the semi finals next year.
