The York Baptist Church Ladies Missionary Society met at Mrs. Bruce Phillips’s Mooreville home for a short business meeting and missionary letters. Devotions were led by Mrs. Richard Beck and prayers for missionaries followed.
The Knights Templar of Ypsilanti Commandery No 54 will guest at the Federated Presbyterian and Baptist Church Palm Sunday service at 11:00 am. They will be joined by the Ypsilanti DeMolays chapter, with a procession from Lockwood Mortuary after breakfast at Marty's Restaurant.

The first of five weekly briefings on civil defense began at the county building in Ann Arbor with Waldo Gross the new Civil Defense Director for Saline attending. Fire Chief Harold Armbruster and Mrs. Armbruster joined. Sessions cover evacuation mass feeding and home preparedness with later meetings focusing on specialized duties.
