Our high school band traveled to Mt. Morris on Tuesday March 10 to present an assembly for students. A return trip was planned for the Mt. Morris band to perform at our school the following week, and they made that trip on Wednesday.
March 18 events describe an educational exchange between Saline and Mt Morris bands. Students traveled by car escorts to Mt Morris, enjoyed a 300-student assembly, and later Mt Morris performed in Saline before visiting the University of Michigan Band in Ann Arbor. This marked the first exchange between the schools with hopes for continued programs.
