Egg Snow Show Set For Saline March 17
A real egg show will be held at the Saline auditorium on Tuesday March 17. Entries of one dozen eggs per exhibitor urged with three classes including farm open and Smith-Hughes high school groups. Premiums awarded, judging by J M Moore of Michigan State College, with a program and egg guessing contests. Exhibits received at Saline High School Monday and by 9 am Tuesday.

Saline Woman's Club Studies Education in Michigan
The Saline Woman's Club met at Mrs. A. J. Warren's home with the Fine Arts Department leading a program on Education. Members recalled school memories, heard papers on Opportunities for an Education in Michigan and Pioneer Educators, discussed Denominational Colleges, and sang Auld Lang Syne. The next meeting will be March 24 at Mrs. Luther Briggs's home for the annual meeting.

Deaths of Carl Finkbeiner and Jacob Schaible
Carl Finkbeiner a Saline township farmer died from injuries after detaching a trailer near John Zahn farm. He was born July 2 1881 and survived by wife Rita Bruno and four brothers. Funeral 2:30 Sunday at Dietiker with Rev Schoen. interment St James cemetery. Jacob Schaible 75 of Lodi died suddenly at home after a life in the area. He leaves Mary wife three sons George Julius Otto and two daughters Tema Clara and a sister Mary. Funeral at home 1:30 then Salems church 2:00 with Rev Maas.

Henry Ford Largest Landholder in Washtenaw County
Henry Ford is the county’s biggest individual landowner expanding westward from Wayne County.
