Death of Garfield Bird in Milan area
Garfield Bird 57, of 603 Catherine Street Ann Arbor and formerly of Milan, died Wednesday at St Joseph Hospital after a four week illness. Born October 12 1885 in Wayne County he married Billie Spink March 9 1910 who, with a daughter Mildred, preceded him in death. Survived by widow Marion Bird two daughters Mrs Clayton Woolner and Mrs Warren Delaforce and one son Maynard Bird all of Milan and three step children. He worked for Ford Motor Co for ten years. Funeral arrangements pending.
