Mushroom safety and village events in Michigan and Eaton Rapids

Inky caps and moral mushrooms are the safest choices this season, with caution on any near relatives. Later, puffballs and meadow mushrooms appear. Meadow mushrooms dominate markets and commercial growing. Also noted are Eaton Rapids choosing petunia as official flower and a Dearborn boy aiding a fire alarm call.
