Band To Be Kept Busy This Summer in Saline
The Saline band faces a busy summer with many engagements. The group has drawn high demand after strong performances in the Dexter Centennial where they topped rivals and earned higher pay. This year they collected 25 dollars for Memorial Day and 50 dollars for the Dexter celebration, funds used to buy a Glockenspiel. On August 1 the band will lead the second district American Legion convention parade in Adrian and perform for the Jackson Zouave Drill Team.
