Giants Unearthed Near Pauls Valley Oklahoma Skeletons Over 7 Feet
Excavation along the Washita River near Pauls Valley with anthropologists from the University of Oklahoma and Tulsa University uncovers more than half a dozen skeletons over seven feet tall. Dr. Forrest E. Clements estimates the race lived 750 years ago and might reveal a hitherto unknown Indian tribe. WPA crews assist while visitors restricted to Thursday only. Pottery arrowheads and a deer jaw bone found. Further soil layer studies needed to date skeletons. The national poultry improvement plan is noted with 41 states using it. There is a quip about mothers in law and sons in law.
