Corn Planters Must Apply For Allotments In 1956
John J. Rice chair of the County ASC says any producer planning to plant corn in 1956 on a farm with no corn planted in 1953 1954 or 1955 must apply for a corn acreage allotment to receive price support. Quotas do not apply to corn but without an allotment all corn on such farm would be ineligible for price support. Applications are available at the county ASC office and must be filed by February 15, 1956.
