Ernest E. Hoyt 69 co owner of Atlas Milling Co was killed instantly when dragged into a belt and pulley system while cleaning a grain conveyor in Clinton He died of a broken neck The body was found by an employer Hoyt had served as superintendent for 37 years since moving from Elm Hall Michigan He was born March 31 1882 in Elm Hall and married Emma Tiney of Remus on August 12 1902 They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year Survivors include his wife a son Ernest H of Pontiac a daughter Mrs Wade Hendershot of Tecumseh two brothers John Shreveport LA and Hugh P Clinton three sisters Mrs Egbert Fell Holland Mrs Carrie Colegrove Remus and Mrs Joseph Starling Prescott Mich three grandsons and several nieces and nephews
