Mississippi river states up about ten percent. trans Mississippi states down four percent. Weights and feeding periods suggest lighter cattle and longer feeds. demand was strong with prices at four year highs. Fat cattle quoted near last year, sheep and lambs on feed down 160,000. Western states expect earlier market due to heavier average feed weights. December 1925 shipments down from December 1924.
