Fred Lendrum officiating and best man Wesley Jahnke. A reception followed in church parlors. the couple will reside at 431 Liberty Street, Ann Arbor.

Death of William W N Lister in Ypsilanti
William W N Lister died at his Ypsilanti home after a long illness following a long career in education and business. He became school superintendent in 1891 until 1895 then ran a drug and jewelry business and served as county school commissioner from 1898 for four years. From 1923 he worked in the insurance field in Ypsilanti. The fiftieth anniversary of the Alumni Association was observed last June. The Saline Library Association will hold its annual meeting Friday evening January 29 at 7 30 in the library.

Red Cross Blood Plasma Project honors wartime donors
The Army and Navy urge greater support for the Red Cross blood plasma program in the coming year. Since December 7 1941 about 1 126 000 pints of blood have been collected. Plasma from donors serves troops in North Africa Guadalcanal ships at sea and other war zones aiding emergency transfusions. Blood Donor has seen 2 880 000 pints requested since 1941 and 24 Blood Donor centers exist. Mobile units visit communities within a 60 mile radius.

Mrs Arthur Rogers and infant son returned to Ypsilanti home the 28th. Mrs Irving Wilson of Bridgewater gave birth to a son on Sunday December 27. Three tonsillectomies were performed Tuesday morning for Helen Goodwin and her brother Burnus children of Charles Goodwin Milan and Donald Lee Kondor son of Joe Kondor Milan.
