Eldean Bauer reports a multi day FFA excursion from Ann Arbor to Chicago. The group rode the Mercury to Chicago, toured the Museum of Science and Industry, Adler Planetarium, Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, and the stockyards. They visited the WLS Barn Show and the International Livestock Show, with meatpacking tours at Swift and Armour and the International Harvester plant before returning on the Wolverine.
