Town Talk forum discusses teen problems and parent roles
A Saline High School forum featured four student panelists Yvonne Bernard Alice Sheehan Bill Austin and John Wolfinex with about 35 adults. They explored teen career choices citizenship and leisure as well as parent child relationships and identity. The event chaired by Mrs Robert Merchant and others will send a report to the regional White House Youth Conference in Ann Arbor May 16.

BPW Installs Officers and Plans Community Service
Mrs. Faye Bergey began a second term as president of Saline BPW at the Saline Hotel meeting. New officers Eunice Oglesby Lorraine Baker Martha Taylor and Vera Schmid were installed by Mrs. Jang Graben. The group voted to affiliate with county clubs and hospital auxiliary and will pursue projects such as Saline Smiles city council attendance and Brownie sponsorship. A $50 incubator fund donation was noted, leaving about $20 to reach goal.
