Saline Common Council Holds March Meeting and Grants Water
The Saline Common Council met in regular session March 5 with President Rentschler presiding. Bills from Detroit Hoist Co and Worthington Pump plus individual salaries were approved, and funds reallocation was authorized. Water access to Henry Goltz and Burkhart’s farm on West Michigan Ave was discussed, with the city to lay pipe to the forks and villagers install their own from there. Farmers enter ton litter contest across county
Twelve county farmers have signed up for the ton litter contest promoted by Michigan Agricultural College and the County Farm Bureau.
