Death of John G. Rentschler in Saline County

John George Rentschler died at Saline General Hospital Thursday afternoon aged 76 years. A lifelong resident born October 2, 1856 in Lodi township, he leaves two sisters Agatha Rentschler and Mrs George Feldkamp, one brother Emanuel, and several nephews and nieces. Private funeral services were held at Dietiker's Funeral Home Saturday at 1 30 with Rev John Meyer officiating. Burial followed in Bethel cemetery Freedom township.

Saline Telephone Company Moves North Side Office

The Saline Telephone Company is moving from the Cook Building on Michigan Avenue to the old Hunt house at South Ann Arbor and Henry streets. The switchboard, cables, and equipment will be updated for a late night cutover with emergency lines maintained, and new pay and local call arrangements for subscribers.
