Federated Church Artists Plan Public Exhibit April 7 8
Members of the Federated Presbyterian and Baptist Church invite the public to a Creative Arts Exhibit held April 7 and 8 under the Afternoon Circle sponsorship. The show features paintings ceramics sculpture jewelry and other arts with a parcel post booth and a silver tea. Exhibitors may register April 5 2 to 4 pm or April 6 after 9 am.

Mrs Lydia Raab aged 87 died Tuesday morning at her home 11665 Bemis Road Bridgewater Township Funeral services were held Friday at 3 pm at Bethel Church with Rev T W Menzel officiating Burial followed in Bethel Church cemetery She was widow of Oscar Theodore Raab survived by two sons Oscar and Rolland a daughter Luella and two brothers and three sisters preceded in death She was lifelong Bridgewater resident and member of Bethel Church and the Women's Guild Arrangement by Lockwood Funeral

Collisions Damage Four Automobiles in Saline and Ypsilanti
Two separate weekend accidents damaged four cars. Kenneth Dietzle of 112 East Henry was hit by William Carson of 205 North Harris while turning from South Ann Arbor to East Henry, causing 500 to 700 dollars in damage and a 51 foot skid. Later Carl Curtiss pulled onto Michigan from Harris and collided with Eugene Aaron of 31 South Grove Ypsilanti. Aaron's Ford was totaled and Curtiss faced about 200 dollars in damage.

Polly a registered Holstein owned by Ypsilanti State Hospital ranks among 12 cows with lifetime production over 150000 pounds of milk. Polly produced 161923 pounds of milk and 4968 pounds of butterfat in 3149 days, about 7.12 times the average dairy cow's lifetime total, per the Holstein Friesian Association of America.

Edmore Mayor to Exchange Roles During Michigan Week
Edmore Michigan Mayor Charles Mox will roll into Saline May 18 for the annual Mayor's Rx exchange during Michigan Week. He will be joined by two Edmore councilmen from Montcalm County population 971 as of the 50 census. Last year Saline Mayor Henry Leutheuser and aides Ken Rogers E J Muir and Pat Roesch swapped roles and visited Benzonia in Benzie County.
