The Public Docks Commission last week authorized bids for Grodin bulkheads land clearing excavating and piling at the St Johna grain elevator and water terminal. After a $1.5 million bond sale draftsmen prepare plans as a dredge will start next week. The budget was adopted with a nine tenths mill levy and a new staff for the terminal, with operations expected by September 1918 and a $4000 sinking fund for the terminal.
