Council Elects A New Alderman In St Johns Meeting
At a Tuesday council session Mayor Muck presided as all but Alderman Perrine attended. Perrine’s seat was declared vacant and J B Martin won the at large seat. W F Stadelman was a close rival. The meeting also addressed Carnegie library conditions, dock wiring costs, Myers street improvements, and hard surfacing on Dawson street from the city limits to Columbia boulevard with plans to extend, widen, and connect streets and facilities.
