St Johns Council Adopts School and Fire Budget Items

In the absence of Mayor Hredgeson the council presided by Waldref reviews park budget, fire engine purchase, Mohawk boulevard improvements and the appointment of Lee Cormany as fire chief. The School Board votes to restrict attendance to vaccinated children for three weeks due to smallpox with two weeks of closures ordered starting January 22. Bonds of 113.04 and various street and advertising charges are approved.
