West Named Lance Corporal in U S Marines

Lance Corporal West, 19, son of Mr and Mrs Bert West of Route St Peters, has been promoted in the U S Marines. A 1971 Fort Zumwalt High School graduate, he serves in the training unit at Camp Lejeune and is expected home this week. He will return to his PAO base at Barr y Point, N C. Also noted is the birth of Joseph Gerard Liverman, born August 24, weighing seven pounds five ounces, joining four sisters.
