Claude Jacobs of 2810 Elm Street has filed for a three year term on the St Charles School District Board of Education. A lifelong resident, he was elected last April to fill an unexpired term and has held multiple local leadership roles including PTA president, cancer drive chairman, YMCA drive organizer, and Uni ted Fund district chair. Loretta Lynn will perform two shows May 3 at Wentzville High School Gym, with Grand Ole Opry sponsored by Wentzville Optimist Club. Senior class trip for Fort Zumwalt seniors heads to Rockland Lodge near Table Rock on May 7, returning later in May. A benefit rummage sale runs 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Harvest Zion Lutheran Church Hall, sponsored by the Ladies Aid Society.
