Missouri Harness Racing Legends Remembered
A note recalls Bi Shivel known as Old Folks and Howard McKinley a Sedalia racehorse trainer, both long prominent in Missouri harness racing. Bi Shivel died at 91 and McKinley died near 90. Evening services run 7:30 p.m. except Sundays at 7 p.m. Adams, 35, Ouachita Baptist University graduate, has appeared at revival meetings across Florida Arkansas Louisiana Texas Michigan Ohio and Missouri and was the youngest chaplain in the Arkansas House.
