Nine candidates file for St. Charles School Board race
A ninth candidate, Mrs. Edward F. Goessling, joins eight others seeking two expiring seats on the St. Charles Board of Education for the April 6 election. Voters face an $825,000 bond issue to fund Jefferson School expansion, Lewis and Clark Area Technical Center addition, and a Willie Library facility, with a two thirds approval needed. Absentee ballots available at the Board Office with 4 p.m. April 2 mail ballot deadline and 4 p.m. April 5 return deadline.
